Engagement sessions are my favorite type of shoot. It's a time where I'm able to connect with my clients and get to know them better, hear about their proposal and of course gush over the ring! Steven and Sarah are one of the sweetest couples I've worked with (which is saying a lot because my clients are WONDERFUL) and their photo shoot was an absolute blast. We hiked out to Grace Hill Winery, Steven and Sarah's wedding venue for next April, one of the sweetest and most elegant settings I've been able to photograph at. We were laughing constantly--whether it be over the chickens that were photo-bombing us or the ridiculous things I made them do (such as fake laugh for extended periods of time) for posing--and their two hour session was done before I knew it! I couldn't be more excited for their wedding next year for oh so many reasons, especially their photos at Grace Hill. Check out their engagement session below to see why I'm so dang excited:

While it is undoubtedly always a privilege and pleasure to photograph my client’s special day, capturing Noah and Megan’s wedding on Saturday, June 11th of this year was a day especially dear to my heart. These two are individuals I wouldn’t hesitate to call close friends—I mean how often do you get to give the maid of honor speech and photograph the wedding of your clients? It goes without saying that these two have been a source of friendship, encouragement and support in my life (check out their proposal and engagement sessions via the links below!).

Their wedding (as you’ll soon see) was absolutely breathtaking. The amount of time and planning that went into all of the sweet details—from the breathtaking bouquets to the gifts that the bride and groom gave one another—made my job as a photographer enormously enjoyable and, as a friend, filled my heart with joy for them. I could go on and on about how wonderful this couple and their day was, but they say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I think I’ll let you see their wedding day for yourself. I wish Mr. and Mrs. Cutshaw the absolute best. Enjoy their photos!
